George R Robert

George Robert was born and raised in Worcester County Massachusetts.  He lived and raised his family there for 56 years before relocating in March of 2005 to Hollywood FL. He is a US Army veteran serving in Headquarters Co. of the 287th MP Co. Berlin Germany. 1968-70

George retired from his Worcester, MA based company that created custom computer software solutions for small and Fortune 500 Companies.  Currently, George is a regularly scheduled volunteer for the Hollywood VA Health Clinic, enlisting the successful registration and verification of veterans to the MyHealtheVet medical records resource system, along with other general volunteer duties at the clinic.  George is a technology educator for the South Florida Institute on Aging technology program for Seniors at the VFW Post 8195 Stone of Hope. 

George serves as the VFW VAVS Representative to the William (Bill) Kling Clinic in Broward County, past Veteran representative member of the Local Coordinating Board for the Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization, member of the Miami VA Hospital Veteran Education/Information Committee, member of the Miami VA Hospital Employee and Veteran Experience Committee, former VFW Florida District 3 Miami VA Hospital Committee Chairman,  VFW Florida
 District 3 Service Officer,  and VFW Florida District 3 Chief of Staff. 

He is the recipient of the Miami VA Healthcare System Volunteer Shining Star Award for 2015 and the President's Lifetime Achievement Award for volunteer service in 2016.
